Congratulations to Kelly’s Kitchen founder Kelly Timmons and the other 31 individuals and organizations that are being recognized and celebrated for the Susan M. Daniels Mentoring Hall of Fame, Class of 2022!

The Susan M. Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame was established to honor those who are making a significant difference in the lives of youth and adults with disabilities through mentoring and to raise awareness about the importance of mentoring for individuals with disabilities. We know that the work we do surrounding food equity and access is essential to the health and well-being of individuals and communities; and this award reaffirms that we are making a significant impact.

The Hall of Fame’s namesake, Susan M. Daniels, devoted her life to improving the lives of others with disabilities. As a person with a disability who achieved enormous professional and personal success, she had significant impact as a senior policy maker, as an inspirational speaker and teacher, and as a devoted mentor to hundreds of individuals.

There is a free virtual event on March 28th and I would love for you to join me. Here is the link to register: https://give.pyd.org/event/the-2023-susan-m-daniels-disability-mentoring-hall-of-fame-class-of-2022/e448121
