Recipe for Chocolate Milkshake:

Prep: 10 minutes

Total: 10 minutes

Servings: 4

  • 6 cups vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream
  • 1/3 cup milk, or more as needed, or use chocolate milk
  • 1/3 cup chocolate sauce
  • whipped cream, optional, for topping

Step one: Combine ice cream, milk and chocolate sauce in a blender and blend until combined. For a thicker shake, add more ice cream. For a thinner consistency, add more milk!

Chocolate milkshake without ice cream: Instead of ice cream, add a couple frozen bananas and plenty of ice.

Chocolate milkshake with cocoa powder: Add 1/4 cup warm water, 6 tbsp of cocoa powder and 3 tablespoons of sugar to a blender and blend on low. Add ice cream and a splash of milk if needed, and blend to combine.

Chocolate banana milkshake: Add a frozen banana and blend with other ingredients.

Vegan chocolate milkshake: Substitute almond milk and vegan vanilla ice cream. Omit whipping cream.
